Spring 2026 Transfer Student Checklist

The items below are a general overview of your steps to becoming a °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ Bear. For a more personalized list of tasks that you have completed and ones that you still need to complete, please access your .

Prepare for Registration

1. Access your °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ user account

  • Access your °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ user account today! Your log-in information was sent from °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµaccounts@bridgew.edu to the personal email address provided in your application.
    • If you have not received your °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ account information from °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ Accounts, please check your junk or spam folder. Contact IT support at 508.531.2555 or ITSupport@bridgew.edu for assistance.
  • Start checking your °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ email today with the log-in information sent from °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ Accounts. You can .
    • IMPORTANT: Login to your °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ email with the default password. You will be prompted to set up MFA (Multi Factor Authentication) before resetting your password. .

2. Complete the Transfer 101 Online Program

  • Complete the Transfer 101 Online Program, which will assist you in learning more about academic resources and how to register for your courses using the online registration system called InfoBear. You can access InfoBear on the °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ Student Portal. Please click the following link to access where you can find Transfer 101 listed under your courses.
  • Once you have completed the Acknowledgement at the end of Transfer 101, you will receive a Spring 2026 registration PIN, which can be found in your Student Profile. Your PIN is needed to register for your spring courses.

3. Register for your Spring courses

  • The Transfer 101 Online Orientation Program taught you how to register for your courses using the online registration system called . for spring 2026 classes (beginning with seniors) opens on Tuesday Nov. 18, 2025. Reminder: The sooner you register for classes, the more options you will have in selecting courses that meet your scheduling needs. Please attempt to register for all of your courses before your advising appointment.
  • Your Spring 2026 registration PIN can be found in your Student Profile shortly after you complete step #2. Your PIN is needed to register for your spring courses.
  • For additional assistance in navigating the registration process, you can find resources on the .
  • If you have the appropriate Math and English courses and/or SAT scores on file, you will not be required to complete placement testing. For more information regarding placement testing, please visit Placement Testing at °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ.

4. Transfer Advising Appointment Sign-up 

  • It is highly recommended that you meet with a transfer advisor to discuss your course selections for the upcoming semester and to ensure all credits are applied to your degree appropriately.
  • Schedule your advising appointment:
    • Advising sessions are offered in-person, virtually, and via phone.
    • If your last name falls within A-H, please connect with Jaclyn Cowell at .
    • If your last name falls within I-P, please connect with Brad Walker at .
    • If your last name falls within Q-Z, please connect with Anna Lofstrom at .
  • If you do not wish to meet with a transfer counselor to review your course selections and finalize your course schedule, please email TransferCentral@bridgew.edu and let our team know.

5. Major Advisor and Course Appeals

  • After you meet with a transfer advisor, you will be assigned your program chairperson as your temporary advisor. Their contact information will be listed on your student profile. While you are not required to meet with your chairperson, you’re welcome to reach out with any major-related questions. Your permanent major advisor will be assigned to you early on in your first semester.
  • If you have courses that transferred in as free elective credit(s), found at the bottom of your DegreeWorks Audit, you may be able to appeal these credits to satisfy outstanding core requirements and/or major requirements. Complete/Submit Important Documentation

6. Submit All Official College Transcripts

  • Send final official transcripts from each of your previously attended institutions to the Office of Undergraduate Admission by secure email at admission@bridgew.edu or by mail to the Office of Admission Welcome Center, 45 Plymouth Street, Bridgewater, MA 02325.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that all your transcripts have arrived, and all prior earned credit has been applied to your degree at °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ. Please make sure all credits are on file prior to the start of your incoming semester to ensure your course selection is accurate.
  • If you are a MassTransfer, STEMBlock, or Commonwealth Commitment student please verify those qualifications are noted on your transcript.
  • You could earn college credit if you completed AP exams and scored a 3 or higher. and have them sent directly to Admissions using code #3517.
  • If you have military credit, please request an official and/or .
  • If you have questions regarding your military benefits, please contact the Military and Veteran Student Services department at veteran@bridgew.edu or call 508.531.2181.

7. Financial Aid

  • If you plan to apply for financial aid, please complete the 2025-26 FAFSA and be sure to add °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ school code 0021830.
  • Please note if you are waiting for your FAFSA to process, please continue with course registration.
  • If you have questions or need additional guidance regarding financial aid benefits, you may find your Financial Aid Counselor contact information here.

8. Request Accommodations and/or other Related Supports (as needed)

  • Students with disabilities or significantly impactful diagnoses may be eligible for accommodations or other related supports through Student Accessibility Services.
  • For more information, please use your °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ login to access the . You may also initiate your request through the SAS Portal at .

9. Submit your °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ Health & Wellness Form

  • You must submit your Student Health and Wellness Form electronically via the portal link . You will need to use your °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ username and password to access the portal.
  • Please note that you will not be able to complete the online forms until after you are registered for classes. Immunizations records will be due within 30 days post course registration. Please allow enough time to have your doctor’s signature and appropriate inoculations submitted, if needed.

10. Complete Health Insurance Waiver/Enrollment Form

  • The website is available as the Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires all undergraduate students registered for 9 or more credits to have health insurance.
  • If you already have your own health insurance (often a plan provided by your parent) you can waive the school insurance (once billed) and have it taken off your account.  
  • If you do not see your insurance carrier on the drop-down menu of acceptable insurance plans please contact the Wellness Center for assistance at 508.531.1252. 

11. Complete the SPARC Course

  • Complete SPARC: The Sexual and Interpersonal Violence Prevention and Response Course. Detailed information will be sent in the coming months.

12. Obtain your Connect Card ID & Parking Decal

  • Once you register for classes, you can apply for your parking permit at  starting on Jan. 2, 2026. For more information, please visit . Please contact 508-531-2897 or parking@bridgew.edu with any questions.
  • To obtain your °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ Connect Card ID, please go to  and sign on with your °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ username and password. Next, click on "Photo Upload" and submit your photo to the Connect Card Office. You will receive updates via email on the progress of your Connect Card.
    • You can also obtain your °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ Connect Card ID by visiting the Connect Card Office (Hunt Hall, Rm 001) Monday - Thursday, 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. For more information, please contact 508-531-2897 or connectcard@bridgew.edu

13. Download the °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ mobile App and Engage °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ

  • Download the °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ Mobile App in the App Store or Google Play Store. The °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ Mobile App includes access to campus resources, your class schedule, campus map and more. You can log into the app as soon as you have your °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ User Account; use your full email address and your newly created password to see all the features.
  • is the official involvement platform utilized by the °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ community where you can find events to attend, organizations to join, and opportunities to make the most of your °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ experience.

14. Sign Up and Attend Crimson Day Orientation

  • Transfer students will be invited to attend a Crimson Orientation Day held on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2026.  You will have the opportunity to engage with a variety of campus resources along with information sessions that will explore more about the °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ student experience. Future information regarding this event will be sent to your °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ email from the Center for Student Engagement.

15. Optional to you:

  • If you are undecided on your major, please schedule an appointment with to explore what majors might be a good fit for your interests and career goals.
  • If you're looking for an off-campus apartment, .
    • If you are renting an apartment or house off campus and not living at your home address, remember to update your local address with the registrar’s office.  Complete this .
