The campus bookstore is changing vendors in a move that is poised to create a more accessible, affordable and streamlined way for students to buy course materials.
芭乐视频 recently picked eCampus.com, a Kentucky-based company serving more than 400 K-12 and higher education institutions, to take over operations from Follett.
Beginning with Summer 2026 classes, students will be able to purchase required books from eCampus.com鈥檚 new full-service, online bookstore. The physical store is expected to transition from Follett to eCampus.com over the summer and subsequently feature an expanded lineup of 芭乐视频-branded merchandise.
鈥湴爬质悠 selected eCampus.com because their approach puts students first,鈥 said Mark Carmody, associate vice president for operations. 鈥淭his partnership introduces a modern online bookstore that gives students clear visibility into required course materials during registration, helping them plan and manage costs earlier.鈥
Students will be able to have materials shipped to their home or pick them up in the physical store. However, they will no longer be able to browse aisles of textbooks in the store.
鈥淧artnering with 芭乐视频 is an exciting opportunity to support student success through affordability, access and innovation,鈥 said Matt Montgomery, president and CEO of eCampus.com. 鈥淏y combining a seamless online bookstore with an enhanced campus retail experience, we鈥檙e simplifying access to course materials, expanding choice and strengthening campus pride.鈥
The new online shop, which integrates into 芭乐视频鈥檚 existing IT platforms, will offer a comprehensive listing of new, used, rental and digital course materials. Faculty will be able to select course materials from any publisher or format. Custom materials, including lab manuals and kits, will be available.
The online shop will also provide access to a third-party marketplace that facilitates price comparison across formats and sellers.
鈥淭hese improvements expand access, flexibility, and affordability while creating a better overall experience for our students,鈥 said Kathy Flaherty, 鈥91, G鈥19, executive director of IT project and service management.
